People are always asking us, "Isn't there something I can do to help free the youth of today from the shackles of blandness and conformity? Can I help to promote more creative weirdness among high school students?" Well, actually, nobody has ever asked us that. But if they did, we would say:   YES ! You can help support the Wylde Q. Chicken Award by contributing to our Wylderness Preservation Fund. The Uni Class of 1972 has created a $10,000 endowment fund. The interest from this fund is enough to cover the annual award and associated expenses. But we'd like to build up the endowment fund so we can afford to increase the amount of the award someday, because otherwise the ravages of inflation will eventually reduce the $150 award to chicken feed.
