Nomination by Audrey Wells, English Teacher Yong-Bee is a hugger. He hugs teachers, staff, and other students. Yong-Bee opens his arms to give a hug usually in the hallway - often when you could use it and least expect it. His hugs are warm - as hugs usually are - but also formal and not intrusive. Yong-Bee's hugging is definitely "out of the box." It's weird at first but now I appreciate it. He's truly reaching out, expressing affection, making peace and not war. His classmates may accuse him of "brown-nosing" but he continues. How many senior boys in any school share kindness this openly? C'mon, class of '72, Yong-Bee is Wylde Q!
