I'd like to second H. Kaplan's post re potential for learning through this
conferencing means. As someone with no experience in distance learning --but
a great deal of interest--and someone with little exposure to the kinds of
exchanges possible through email, I am finding my introduction to the subjects
of the conference and to the medium a real boost to my learning curve. Now if
I could only figure out to practice "mooing" via telnet, I'd be ready for
Session 5. One day at a time, I know.
